Ideally suited for festivals, concerts and outdoor events, or any scenario needing to deal with inclement or unpredictable weather, the iSpiider® is a bright, high-performance rated WashBeam luminaire, retaining all the favourite features of its phenomenally successful indoor relative, the Spiider®.

Designed, developed, and manufactured, to be sealed against water and particle ingress, thereby strictly adhering to their IP65 rating, you can be confident of both its protection and performance.

Their aluminium housing gives a dust-free environment for the optics, eliminating the need for frequent cleaning and routine maintenance.

By including NFC (Near-Field Communication) technology, you can access setup, diagnostic and performance features, even when the fixture is not powered, directly from your mobile device using the Robe Com app.

iSpiider® uses the same 18 x 40-Watt, and 1 x 60-Watt LED source as the original, with the identical 12.5:1 zoom optical system, giving the same, tight 4° Beam to wide 50° Wash.

The unique Robe patented MCFE™ - Multi-Coloured Flower Effect, driven by the center 60W RGBW LED multichip, produces sharp, multicoloured spikes of light, rotating in both directions at variable speed, adding visual impact to any show.

All control protocols are present, with dynamic video effects achieved by mapping individual pixels, controlled by DMX control desks, media servers via sACN with internal HTP merging, or Kling-Net.

Designed to be used indoors or out, we make fixture swap with the original Spiider® easy, as the DMX control channels, operating speeds, and feature set of both luminaires are identical.

The DataSwatch™ inbuilt virtual colour library for Robe LED fixtures consists of up to 237 pre-programmed and calibrated colours and tones, allowing for rapid and accurate programming.

RLCT™ - Robe lens coating technology

Just like with spectacles, our lens coating technology protects soft plastic lenses against surface scratches, that can even occur during cleaning when scrubbed repeatedly. Anti-static properties prevent dust build-up on the lenses, thus extending the period between maintenance cleaning.

The L3™ Low Light Linearity System produces imperceptible, ultra-smooth fades to black.

GDTF – General Device Type Format

The General Device Type Format creates a unified definition for exchange of data for the operation of intelligent luminaries, such as moving lights. The file format is human readable and developed using open source formats.

Tungsten Emulation

When selected, the luminaire will mimic the colour temperature of a tungsten lamp as you lower the output to produce that classic warm glow.

QVGA Robe Touch Screen Display System

The QVGA Robe touch screen display gives full access to all fixture setup and diagnostic functions and is very intuitive to navigate.

FW diffusers for pixelated washers

Robe fixtures homogenise beams really well but, for the ultimate smoothness, most of our pixelated LED wash lights can easily be fitted with a Fresnel Wash (FW) diffusion filter in-between the LED array and the lenses. They can also be ordered pre-installed if desired, as FW versions.

Epass™

Robe lighting’s Epass™ provides Ethernet in/out connections with a pass-through switch that sustains Ethernet integrity when the fixture has no power to automatically maintain network connectivity.

REAP™ - Robe Ethernet Access Portal

The Robe Ethernet Access Portal allows to access internal data from a networked fixture, viewed as a web page, addressable via the fixtures network IP.

RAINS™ – Robe Automatic Ingress Protection System

The highly advanced patented RAINS™ (Robe Automatic Ingress Protection System) technology not only prevents ingress. It actively manages a fixture's internal microclimate removing internal moisture build-up caused by constant heating and cooling to provide maximum protection for electronics, revolutionising how outdoor fixtures are managed and protected.

POLAR+™

Outdoor fixtures need to operate in extreme cold. Therefore, Robe iSeries™ fixtures contain an innovative POLAR+™ technology - a special standby mode with low power consumption, in which the fixture's sensors and communications channels continue to function.

Robe NFC controller and app

The Robe COM application is an app based on NFC (Near Field Communication). It can be either used to access to fixture’s settings of our NFC-based navigation display systems as well as reading out data of our TE™ Transferable Engines.
